Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk, an early model, French, late 19th to early 20th Century with the serial # 148289, and monogrammed "E. M. D." with "Baltimore" to both ends. Interior label to back panel of the lid for "I. Rue Scribe Paris - Louis Vuitton - 149 New Bond St. LONDON". Replaced lock, all original hardware stamped. Interior is a deep ribbon cage, presumably for hats.
